Mystery Box Lab

 Purpose:
To use observations of patterns of names and numbers on five sides of a cube shaped box to determine what is present on the sixth side.

 Materials:
Mystery Box
Paper and Pencil

 Procedure:
1. Get a Mystery Box and keep it on your table without looking at the bottom
2. Observe the five sides that are obvious and make observations of what is present on these sides
3. Based on your observations develop a hypothesis of what is on the bottom (sixth side)
4. Once an hypothesis is determined, flip the box over and compare
