Skeletal Muscle Poster
Materials:
3 Skeletal Muscle Poster sheets, with anterior/posterior sides
5 colored sheets of paper
scissors
glue stick or tape
Muscle Labs, Color sheets, and Flash cards
Your goal is to create a miniature model of the body showing the location of the muscles of the body. Using your labs, color sheets and flash cards as a reference, you will cut out muscles from the colored sheets of paper and add them to your ÒPosterÓ. It is important that you place them in the correct places on the body, attaching them to the proper condyles, etc. You will label the muscles and then list the actions in the margins of your papers. Take care to get the correct lengths, widths, and shapes as you cut out your muscles. Also be sure to note the Òlayering orderÓ of muscles so you place them down correctly.
